ENLACE COMUNITARIO

Enlace Comunitario transforms the lives of individuals and their families experiencing domestic violence by working to decrease gender inequity and intimate partner violence in the Latinx immigrant
community in Central New Mexico.

Funding will help support the Youth Leaders program which allows teenagers (13-17 years old) to build and bolster their leadership and networking skills while promoting healthy, gender-affirming relationships amongst their peers; doing so mitigates the prevalence of domestic violence-affiliated behaviors, such as teen dating violence. The majority of Youth Leaders for each year's cohort are former child witnesses or survivors of domestic violence who received Enlace Comunitario’s intervention services.
